Let me be the first to tell you that this is great news and that you've done a great job!!. I am very curious about the "Croc-driver". I will go and buy the game today just because of it :-).
I actually think it isn't such a bad idea to tune the wrapper for different games making special game-drivers. 3dfx might have less problem with a pure driver that only works on one game than a full wrapper that works on many 3dfx programs. So what should we call it ...? Any suggestions out there? Rendition Croc-driver ... RedndCroc ...., BigRredCroc .... to be honest I've got a empty head right now :-).
How should we distribute it ... well once again, any suggestions. The easiest way is of course to allow download from the Rendition sites. Or maybe people interested have to mail me and then get it via mail with a disclaimer that they should use it only for educational purposes :-). Or we maybe should include a disclaimer that said that onlyu people with real 3dfx cards should try it :-).
While we are thinking I would suggest you upload it to ftp.bjorn3d.com/pub/developer and just use the name croc.zip right now. That way we all could try it out.
